Will the magnet damage my team’s uniforms?
No. The magnet attaches through the fabric — not to it — so there are no pin holes, fabric tears, or snags. Our magnets are also coated to prevent direct contact between the metal and the fabric, eliminating wear over time.
What’s the minimum order quantity?
Our MOQ is 10 magnetic name tags. For orders above 50 units we offer tiered bulk pricing. Individual replacement tags are available without minimums.
How strong are the magnets?
Our standard magnets hold securely through cotton, poly-cotton blends, and most uniform-weight fabrics up to approximately 1/8 inch thick. Heavy-duty magnets are available for thicker materials such as aprons, chef whites, and utility coats.
Can I swap names without reordering the whole tag?
Yes. Our insert-window design lets you slide out the printed name card and replace it while keeping the magnetic body in service. Replacement inserts are inexpensive and typically ship in 3-5 business days.
How long does production take?
Standard production is 5-7 business days after proof approval, plus 2-5 business days for shipping. Rush production is available with 3-4 business day turnaround for an expedite fee — useful for new-opening or event timelines.
Are the magnets safe around medical equipment?
Our standard magnets are not strong enough to affect most modern medical equipment. However, they should not be worn in MRI environments. We recommend following your facility’s specific policies on personal metal items in restricted areas.
What printing methods do you use?
We use UV-cured direct printing, which produces sharp, full-color results that resist scratching and fading through years of daily use. Embossed metal inserts are also available as a premium upgrade.
